TAMPA - Ybor City's redevelopment has been a saga of fits and starts, but recent events are stoking optimism for its future.
Centro Ybor sold in December to a Chicago investment group with plans to turn the struggling retail complex around and possibly add condos or office space. Heidt & Associates, a leading civil engineering company, will move into its new office complex on 15th Street and Fifth Avenue this month and add more than 170 employees to the district. more...
